IX. Joseph DAVIDSON (1720-1705) m Sarah
Joseph was born in 1720 in Ulster County, Ireland and died after 1795 in Statesville, Iredell (Rowan) County, North Carolina. He married Sarah around 1750 in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania and he was a member of the Presbyterian Church.

(2) George Clayton Davidson was born around 1775 in North Carolina and died around 1827 in Obion County, Tennessee. He was married to Mary Cork.

(4) Joseph Davidson was born on the 10th of August 1778 in Statesville, Iredell County, North Carolina and died on the 30th of June 1859 in the same location. (2) Joseph Oscar Davidson was born on the 12th of May 1833 in Statesville, Iredell County, North Carolina and died on the 5th of September 1892 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. He was married to Mary Ann Dillon.
(3) Richard Steele Davidson born on the 3rd of February 1837 in Statesville, Iredell County, North Carolina and died on the 24th of April 1911 at Paradise Valley, Chickasaw County, Mississippi. He married Emma Letha Lansford.

V. Richard Steele DAVIDSON (1837-1911) m Emma Letha LANSFORD (1848-1889)
Richard was born on the 3rd of February 1837 in Statesville, Iredell County, North Carolina and died on the 24th of April 1911 at Paradise Valley, Chickasaw County, Mississippi. He was in the Confederate army from April of 1861 for four years until his surrender to Union forces at Petersburg, Virginia.

(1) Milas Lee Davidson was born on the 9th of January 1872 at Paradise Valley, Chickasaw County, Mississippi and died on the 9th of March 1956 at Okolona, Chickasaw County, Mississippi. He was married to Clara Florence Hadley.
(2) Henry Edward Davidson was born on the 5th of December 1873 at Paradise Valley, Chickasaw County, Mississippi and died on the 29th of December 1958 at Chickasaw County, Mississippi. He is buried at the Pleasant Grove Cemetery at Shannon, Lee County, Mississippi. Henry was married to Minnie Alice Dallas.
(3) Alice (Allie) Abna Davidson was born on the 5th of March 1876 at Paradise Valley, Chickasaw County, Mississippi and died on the 9th of May 1973 in Chickasaw County, Mississippi. She is buried in the Shannon Cemetery, Shannon, Lee County, Mississippi. Alice was married to William Edward Dallas.

(2) Ona Irene Dallas was born the 30th of November 1901 in Chickasaw County, Misssissippi and died the 17th of February 1988 in Memphis, Shelby County, Tennessee. She is buried in Memphis Memorial Gardens. Ona was married to Gilbert Amos Robinson.
(3) Durrell A. Dallas was born the 26th of March 1905 in Chickasaw County, Mississippi and died on the 22nd of February 1983 in Marion, Crittendon County, Arkansas. Durrell was married to Grace Blanch Leach.
(4) Guy Dallas was born on the 22nd of December 1906 in Shannon, Lee County, Mississippi and died on the 5th of September 1977 in Baton Rouge, Baton Rouge County, Louisiana. Guy was married to Maxine Grimes.
